I have spent the last few days enjoying some festive fun in Edinburgh. Unfortunately, while I was there I sustained a slight injury, and on returning home I have also tested positive for Covid once again. Hey ho!
Oh no, what a way to spend the Christmas weekend! I'm sending wishes that you heal quickly and can enjoy Christmas with no horrid COVID symptoms. Stay warm and curled up, take care and Merry Christmas!
Cough...errr ummm...not going to ask how the injury occurred as to whether it was drink related...but get well soon...you might as well get it all out the way in one fell swoop I suppose. xx
Thank you, Jan. I'm beginning to feel a little better now. And I will be looking through some of your delicious recipes to help build myself up again. X
Thank you, Bless. I'm starting to feel a little better from my injury, although it is going to take me a bit longer than I thought to bounce back fully. I hope your daughter is continuing to improve. Xx.
I hope that your injury isn't too serous Jules and hopefully your covid symptoms will be mild, son number 2 and DIL both have it too and they were hosting Christmas lunch! it's everywhere, I hope that it doesn't stop you and Lily having a lovely Christmas. xx
Thank you, Linda. My injury doesn't seem serious, although it is going to take a while before I feel okay again. I'm sorry to hear about your son and daughter-in-law. I hope they are both feeling better now. X
Im so sorry to hear about the injury and Covid, it really seems to be spreading again. I hope you enjoyed Edinburgh - my birth place my dad was stationed at the naval base nearby at Rosyth during the war, and my mum travelled up and rented a small bungalow at West Calder so she would be near him, and I was born there. I love Edinburgh. I hope you get to enjoy Christmas. Good wishes, Jean/Winnipeg
Sorry to hear about your accident Jules and also having covid again. I do hope you are still able to have a lovely Christmas and wish you all the best for the New Year. Take care of yourself xx
I am so sorry to hear that you have been injured, I do hope that you are ok. I am also sorry to hear that you have COVID, I do hope you are ok and are not taken badly with it.
There are so many viruses about just now, that I expect there are more people have it than actually realise. Thank you. Edinburgh was lovely, as always :)
Sorry to hear and hope you recover quickly. Not the way to spend the holidays!
ReplyDeleteWishing you peace, joy and good health!
Thank you, Ellen. And the same to you and yours. X

DeleteOh my friend.I am so sorry. Covid is rampant here in Pennsylvania. Stay cozy and prayers for a quick recovery.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Billie Jo. I suspect there will be far more people actually have the virus than we realise. X
DeleteSorry to read about the injury ...
ReplyDeleteHoping you only have Covid mildly and it will not spoil your Christmas too much.
Sending my good wishes for Christmas.
All the best Jan
