Time for Bed

It's been a long day and I'm feeling very tired. I'm looking forward to the end of the week when I can relax and enjoy the run up to Christmas without the pressure of work . I won't be long out of bed but Lily is fast asleep already.

This evening I changed her bed linen to this cute festive duvet cover. My best friend bought this set for her a few years ago now, and I always make sure to put it on her bed the week before Christmas. Lily loves it, especially as it means that we're getting even closer to Christmas Day.  It's just one of those things that helps get us in the Christmas spirit. I'll be changing my own tomorrow 🎄

  1. I love little rituals. I always had special Christmas ones for my kids: they loved it. I popped over from An Awakened Soul blog

  6. That's a very cute duvet. I have a snowflake set I bring out every year and still use it in January too , hoping for snow. :)

  7. We're suckers for Christmas rituals too. The only one I don't like is taking down the decorations on Twelfth Night.

    1. I used to leave my decorations up until Twelfth Night but in recent years I've taken them down a few days earlier. X

    1. I love to see the bed made up and looking festive. Sometimes I hang fairy lights above it, but what you can't see in the picture are the glow in the dark stars on the headboard. X
